BioI was abandoned by irresponsible parents as a child and subsisted mostly on library books and the Public Broadcasting system. I had a insatiable desire to become an artist when I grew up, despite the fact (probably because of the fact) that almost everyone told me I couldn't. I am a graphic and web designer, which is like being an artist with a paycheck and a health savings account. I still regularly raid the library and read voraciously - mostly nonfiction.
I'm also a small press comic book publisher who focuses mainly on a graphic novel series called Symphony of the Universe. The majority of my livejournal entries are compilations to add to those stories.
